If I may ask, what would be your recommendation for a Roman Catholic?
I'm curious if you would add a third item to prayer and study, or if the second item would be changed.
Why I'm deeply interested in your answer: In my religious and spiritual wandering, from 1) at-birth/youth cultural (and cafeteria) Catholicism to 2) 20s and early 30s material agnosticism/unspoken atheism, then to 3a) 12 Step meetings and 3b) dabbling at Protestantism, as well as either 3 or 3c) taking more seriously your writings about religion/spirituality--I believe I started reading your blogs around 2008/9--and then 4) recently back to Catholicism through regular attendance at Mass, I have a commingled and confused sense of IBM-compatible Christianity.
Incidentally?, I'm really looking forward to your Wednesday post on your other blog. I assume it's about Protestantism's Islam envy.
