South Adocentyn is partly based on East Providence, the down-at-heels working class suburb where I live, and partly based on memories of some of the low-rent Seattle suburbs of my younger days. We'll be seeing more of it in the books ahead. As for cinquefoil aka five-finger grass, here's one such spell. Take one perfect five-lobed leaf, and a piece of brown paper (as in, from a paper grocery bag) that you've torn on all four sides. Anoint the paper in a five-spot pattern (one drop in the center and one on each corner) with Money Stay With Me Oil, which you can get at any hoodoo shop. Fold it up around the cinquefoil leaf and tuck that in your wallet. You'll find that it's much easier for you to hold onto the money you make, and to get more when you need it.
