We are now in the fourth year of these open posts. When I first posted a tentative hypothesis on the course of the Covid phenomenon, I had no idea that discussion on the subject would still be necessary more than three years later, much less that it would turn into so lively, complex, and troubling a conversation. Still, here we are. Crude death rates and other measures of collapsing public health are anomalously high in many countries, but nobody in authority wants to talk about the inadequately tested experimental Covid injections that are the most likely cause; ~~public health authorities~~ government shills for the pharmaceutical industry are still trying to push through laws that will allow them to force vaccinations on anyone they want; public trust in science is collapsing; and the story continues to unfold.

So it's time for another open post. I have added a new rule (see below, #6):

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry and its government enablers are causing injury and death on a massive scale. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its wholly owned politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you plan on making off topic comments, please go away. This is an open post for discussion of the Covid epidemic, the vaccines, drugs, policies, and other measures that supposedly treat it, and other topics directly relevant to those things. It is not a place for general discussion of unrelated topics. Nor is it a place to ask for medical advice; giving such advice, unless you're a licensed health care provider, legally counts as practicing medicine without a license and is a crime in the US. Don't even go there.

5. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

6. Please don't just post bare links without explanation. A sentence or two telling readers what's on the other side of the link is a reasonable courtesy, and if you don't include it, your attempted post will be deleted.

Please also note that nothing posted here should be construed as medical advice, which neither I nor the commentariat (excepting those who are licensed medical providers) are qualified to give. Please take your medical questions to the licensed professional provider of your choice.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

To Ron and other regular Canadian readers, how's it going? How you feeling about the recent turn of events? I'm hopeful for you and I would love to see Fidel Jr leave his post. My only lament is, there doesn't seem to be someone to fill the void. Curious to what you think?

Im just watching it unfold really..

seems to me trudeau has been in trouble for awhile but he somehow still seems to hang in there, so I dont really know if he will pull it off again or not.
I am guessing we will end up with pierre poilievre, i dont actually know a lot about him, and I certainly dont trust him.. but who else could it be?

Couple weeks ago Trump criticized Canada's 'negotiator' representing Canada in a trade deal a few years ago. He said she was 'terrible.' That would be Freeland.

She is of course the queen of Kiev as well so there's that burden on her as well.

I feel hopeful, compared to last month or so when it still felt pretty oppressive. My sense is there's been a change in the air.

It has been entertaining to watch Trump the Changer give Canada’s cage its first little rattle – and our Minister of Finance/Deputy Prime Minister resigns, and our Dear Tyrant appoints his close friend as her replacement (in classic ‘crumbling regime’ fashion) and then runs away and hides (like he always does when he feels lack of control). Since the (now former) Minister of Finance was nicknamed the ‘Wicked Witch of the WEF’, memes about the witch melting have abounded. It is always a relief to see one’s oppressors panic and demonstrate to all who have eyes what cowards and buffoons they are.

Entertainment value aside, it is sad to see the burning horseless wagon called ‘Canada’ lurching down a rocky gulch with its wheels coming off their axles. The spirit of change is in the air as well as the smell of blood. But nobody knows when an election will be called and/or whether the clowns in blue suits (Conservatives) will make the circus better once the clowns in red suits (Liberals) are fired by ‘the people’. The country is being over-run by foreigners, our social services are collapsing at an alarming rate, homelessness is endemic in every city and town, and war is on the horizon at a time when the country has a fighting force of 3,000 (max) with no weapons to use other than sharpened popsicle sticks. As Alice Cooper sang about Hell, “Having a wonderful time, my dear, wish you were here!”

It's quite a slice to see Mrs. 'Freeze The truckers bank accounts' be referred to as 'toxic' by The Orange One.

Have you ever taken an attached tick off your body? I have, many times. The tick firmly attaches itself to the skin around its head as it burrows in deeper and deeper to suck your blood, and as you pull it off, the skin is ripped off with it. It's quite a hard tug that is needed. Sometimes the head is left behind and can cause problems.

Justin Trudeau is a tick. Firmly attached and will require a hard tug to pull off. Expect skin to be ripped off with it. And there may be tick residues left, and possibly disease.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful substack - it really ties together a lot of historical 'loose ends'.
Castreau and the Wicked Witch of the WEF - quite the Demonic Duo! May they both be 'taken out' in the 'circular firing squad' that is presently the Liberal Party of Canada.

If I were granted permission to carve Freeland's tombstone I would chisel a quote from her gleefully demented command that peaceful protesters' bank accounts are to be frozen - for that shall be her epitaph.

I don't think you have to worry about that particular demonic duo. The Liberal Party of Canada has one and only one essential qualification for it's leaders: They must be able to win elections. Since what's-his-name can no longer meet that qualification he's done. All that's left for him is to be forgotten by history.
The Nazi woman can't win either so she's probably done too. The next election will be a Progressive Conservative landslide. Unfortunately, that never goes well.

The leader of the New Democratic Party, Jagmeet Singh, has to keep Justin and the Liberals in power until some day in March 2025. On that day, Jagmeet Singh, known as Sellout Singh in the Sikh community in Canada, will be eligible for a fine, fat pension for his years of dedicated service to the Canadian people. Then, he will probably stop voting against non-confidence motions and a general election will be called. Self-interested much?

On that day, the Liberals will face a blood bath and will be lucky to retain two seats in Parliament. We will end up with a Conservative Government with a huge majority. This will also not be a good thing for Canada.

What I prefer is a hung Parliament where no one has a clear majority and they can't get any bills passed. This would leave us with less government which would be helpful. I ignore them as best I can and refuse to follow their ridiculous rules.
