Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 141

they can't handle the truthWe are now in the third year of these open posts. As the phrase "died suddenly" repeats in the mass media like a mantra, statistics for work days lost to illness and all-cause mortality mount up in heavily vaccinated nations, and more and more ugly facts about the official response to Covid spill out into public, we are entering what may well turn out to be the most difficult period of the Covid disaster -- the phase in which denial rises in lockstep with the death rate, and a great many people try not to admit what has been done to them by the people and institutions they trusted. It could get ugly, folks.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

Never thought I would see this in the comment section of nakedcapitalism -

https://www.nakedcapitalism.com/2024/04/more_economic_effects_our_ongoing_covid_pandemic_cognitive_dysfunction_labor_market.html#comment-4026975

Briefly, Lambert wrote a post on economic effect of covid, and someone commented "pandemic of the vaccinated". I am surprised Lambert did not yank that comment as "misinfo" or "anti-vax conspiracy".

Second comment is mine. They decided to moderate my comments after I put that one. So you see, they don't like the truth.

Whenever someone posts a link to Nakecap, that's when I would take a look and see how the tone and tenor is changing... checking on the zeitgeist so to speak.

As you said, they're edging closer and closer to the truth, but still shying away from the obvious conclusion that they were had, in a big way. Funny(/s) to see Lambert proclaim that everyone knew vaccines would always have some side effects... okaaay. Basically they still cannot stomach the fact that wide-scale fraud was conducted across the board in all the western-aligned countries in 2020, to scare folks and generate a narrative to fit their needs. Fraud being a severe understatement.

I have been following them for COVID issues since the beginning. I read them more for their economic and financial stuff, but they have some commenters that have been extremely helpful ( namely IM Doc, and KLG).

It seems to me reading the comments over time that there is a huge split in their COVID commenters. There is a commenter that is named “GM” who is described as a scientist. That person has been on a permanent doom scroll loop since the first time I saw him. He is very into all the masking and distancing hysteria. And is extremely pro-vaccine. Subsequent events have proven him multiple times to be very far off base in what is actually happening.

KLG is some kind of current medical professor. He is obviously older and more seasoned. He regularly takes on Big Pharma and points out massive problems with current research issues. I have found his commentary to be very enlightening.

IM Doc, what can I say? He is clearly very connected. You can tell from his writing style that he has been a teacher. He has been multiple times over the years very patient in describing medical studies and how the conclusions are absolutely flawed. There is another fine example today in their morning links. He has not been holding back on very appropriate criticisms of the FDA et al. He clearly has his patients well-being at the center. I have learned so much about the inner workings of the medical elite and how they think from his comments. Occasionally they print his emails detailing current patient situations which seem outlandish at the time, and then subsequently fall into place as in yesterday’s news. His posting has seemed to have fallen off in frequency. I wish we all had doctors like him though, his care for the patients and the public shines through his words.

So in brief, the coverage has been all over the place on that site. I think they are doing their best to assess things as they come up daily. However, it is often quite schizophrenic and you have to realize the place from which the poster/commenter is coming from. That being said, it remains one of my daily internet reads.

KLG is a biochemistry professor I think.

For a while there (when everything was in full swing), I was collecting IM DOC's comments on my dreamwidth site (click my username and scroll down - there's a lot there) for "posterity." It amazed me that he could be saying what he said at the very start of the injection crusade ("the study is very flawed!") and yet the NC staff couldn't get in line fast enough to partake, and pile on anyone else who said it might not be a good idea to take a product that rolled out under a flawed study...

Eventually I lost interest in combine their archives for his comments, but I think what I did collect is quite illustrative of the insanity of it all.

I have been to your dreamwidth site many times to read IM Doc's comments without the usual nakedcap trash. Many thanks for the hard work. Much appreciated !

I am replying to my own comment -

Today is the classic example of the schizophrenia I am talking about on that site.

Lambert in the water cooler is discussing this article - https://www.sensible-med.com/p/is-it-ok-for-internists-to-wear-masks? in a very condescending manner towards the physician asking the question.....almost questioning her morality.

Then IM Doc in the comments ------ makes a very strong and very important point. That no actually - you cannot actually use eyes alone to assess your patient's mental status -
