Essene Healing Open Post

Longtime reader and commenter Tunesmyth, who coordinates the Ecosophia Prayer List, had a useful suggestion over on this week's open post on my main blog: 

"Over in the thread on the prayer list where this discussion first came up, there have now been two MOE practitioners who have piped in with somewhat different perspectives about what is desired or needful regarding bringing healer and those needing healing together via the internet. I am certainly happy to play a part in making something happen, perhaps integrating or linked with the current prayer list in some way. But I think there first needs to a bit more of a conversation between those who are planning to do this work about what they would like to see happening, exactly, when it comes to making a site, and/or possibly adjusting the “healing” section of the Ecosophia prayer list.

"JMG, might I suggest that you might start a new MOE thread on the Dreamwidth site in order to facilitate a discussion within the full MOE practitioner community about this?"

That strikes me as a very good idea. So -- let's have that conversation. Those of you who want to practice Essene healing online, what do you need to direct healings and blessings toward people who need it? Those of you who need healing, what level of contact are you comfortable having? What other issues might need to be addressed?  Have at it.

I'm glad Open_space thought to check up on that; it sounds like an analogous situation with my daughter, who had just been worked on by an entire graduating class of Reiki students shortly before asking JMG to do Healing Hands for my daughter; he asked that we wait several days for the Reiki to clear her system so as to avoide the possibility of interference. If you're in the middle of a treatment regimen, you should probably just continue that for now. Hopefully we get it sorted out fairly soon a centralized place for people to leave requests at, and you can try Healing Hands at a later time when the Reiki is not going at the same time.

This makes perfect sense to me; two songs may both be utterly beautiful, but trying to play them at the same time usually results in cacaphony!

Yeah that makes sense.

I honestly have no idea what's going on, cos my reiki 2 initiation was in January, and the detox is still on-going, which has me incapacitated for months now.

I did speak to my reiki 1 master yesterday, and he scanned me, and he said the energy channels are close to clearing up according to him, so fingers crossed.

Hope your daughter is doing better Tunesmyth!

Reiki sounds intense!

I hope you get well soon. Fwiw, I found aerobic exercise really good at clearing energy pathways.
