As we proceed through the second year of these open posts, it's pretty clear that the official narrative is cracking as the toll of deaths and injuries from the Covid vaccines rises steadily and the vaccines themselves demonstrate their total uselessness at preventing Covid infection or transmission. It's still important to keep watch over the mis-, mal- and nonfeasance of our self-proclaimed health gruppenfuehrers, and the disastrous results of the Covid mania, but I think it's also time to begin thinking about what might be possible as the existing medical industry reels under the impact of its own self-inflicted injuries.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

Most likely YT has suddenly eased up on its censoring because its owners now want to spin the new narrative it's all the fault of the last White House occupant in time for the 2024 election's primary season which has finally started. Just watch: the one who approved Operation Warp Speed will get blamed for everything in an attempt to reduce or eliminate culpability for those who knowingly used Warp's murderous contractual work-arounds which allowed avoidance of any useful safety testing *before* the jabs were purchased in bulk in 2020, *before* the first round of human testing was completed by fall 2020, and rolled out for use in December 2020.

I remember back on one of the earlier posts (it may even have been the hypothesis post itself), saying that this was the most likely outcome if things started going south: the narrative would spin; Covid was an ordinary flu virus; the lockdowns and shutdowns and the like were never needed and were all Trump's fault; and the vaccines were dangerous, untested, and had been authorized by Trump's FDA; that the scientists had been trying to warn us this was going to end very badly, but were being blocked by Republicans; and so on to try to blame the entire thing on Trump and Republicans, no matter how disconnected they needed to get from the facts. Most of the comments were saying that this was too absurd, that they could not see it happening even with everything else that had happened.

It's starting to look like I was right, and all I can say is I wish this weren't the case....

One problem with blaming the COVID fiasco on Trump is the cognitive dissonance of all the vaccine true believers. I have family members who are still proudly asserting how GOOD they are because they are fully vaccinated and boosted. If the vaccines are suddenly associated with orange man bad, those family members' heads are going to explode. I guess it will be entertaining, if nothing else...

Oh, that's easy enough to twist with standard pretzel logic.

The lockdowns and school closures were bad because Orange Man bad, focused protection would have been so better in hindsight - but that idiot Trump over-reacted and scared everyone into complying with an over-reaction and made a mess. Stupid Trump!

The vaccines are good and wonderful life-savers of course (all vaccines are terrific), and every Good Person who could have gotten them should of course have gotten them, but now that the virus has changed and become less dangerous, most of us don't need them anymore. Also, Trump was irresponsible and pushed the vaccines on everyone, instead of acknowledging that some small number of people have medical reasons that are counter-indicative for wonder jabs, and the fact that medical exemptions were discouraged is obviously where all the vaccine injuries come from. Pushing the miracle jabs on the small number of people with medical contradictions to vaccines was a bad idea, the rest of us could have given them herd protection by being Good People and getting our wonder jabs, but Trump didn't acknowledge that. Stupid Trump!

The fact that Trump stopped being president in January of 2021 won't matter, because he was president in 2020 when it all started and he set the precedent for the US response so everything is still his fault. If you say otherwise you're a right-wing conspiracy theorist who hates black people and wants trans people to commit suicide, so just shut up.

Grew up with a narcissist in the house. I know how pretzel logic works.

I've had narcissist co-workers and romantic partners. That was bad enough...growing up with one in the house, yikes! I offer my sympathy.

I fail to see how this is much worse than some of the other ways the narrative was spun...
