Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 90

seatbeltAs we proceed through the second year of these open posts, it's pretty clear that the official narrative is cracking as the toll of deaths and injuries from the Covid vaccines rises steadily and the vaccines themselves demonstrate their total uselessness at preventing Covid infection or transmission. It's still important to keep watch over the mis-, mal- and nonfeasance of our self-proclaimed health gruppenfuehrers, and the disastrous results of the Covid mania, but I think it's also time to begin thinking about what might be possible as the existing medical industry reels under the impact of its own self-inflicted injuries.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

"Visions of those instruments in the Victorian Era for hysterical women come to mind as a possible solution."

I'm sorry, your story is so awful, but again, with the tea out my nose... have you... have you considered... throwing a tupperware party?

FWIW, I haven't noticed the older women where I live being particularly hysterical, but BC never mandated 4 shots for anyone (not past 2, I don't think... maybe 3 for healthcare workers), and maybe they're a little too hippy dippy still. When I was considering whether I was really too old to repierce my nose once I wasn't breastfeeding or donating blood anymore, or if I would just look like a sad middle aged person playing at rebellion - like an old guy who buys a convertible and pierces his ear - an octogenarian with purple hair, multiple face piercings, cat's eye glasses and Vivienne Westwood fashion sense walked by.

You just described the person who has cut my hair for thirty years. But with the lost employment in 'all this' I'm going for the old guy with thinning hair (a gentle way of describing rocky land mass beneath tall grass) who has a ponytail. I'd like a Celtic spiral tattoo but.........but..........yeah, the' is this ridiculous' angle .......when oil company accountants are 'edgily' adorning their body I'm not sure I have anything to add................

I have a good hairdresser myself.

If I may ask, sarad, how old were you when you stopped donating blood? As a fifty-eight years old donor of twenty-plus years (with fifteen-plus years of plasma donations beforehand), I'm beginning to wonder when it would be wiser to stop donating.

Oh, I didn't stop because of age (a lady never tells ;-)) - I stopped because they told me my iron was "borderline" the last time (never happened before) and I knew if I did it again I'd probably get sick. I haven't checked to see if it's back up yet.

If you're still well, I don't see why you'd need to stop, I saw lots of much older people still donating safely; I know you're so needed!

Thanks for the reply and the advice.

You're welcome; but my sincere thanks is all to you for being a reliable donor.

Hmmm I've been posting here for years and we've never met unless you're an anon now with a name. I didn't intend my post to get your sympathy. If I stay away from doctor's offices, my professional colleagues, and universities (and anyone with an advanced degree in anything), I'm actually quite optimistic about the future and the present.

And if you are out of hysterical older women, there are plenty I can send your way. They'll be glad to tell you about all their fears and anxieties, wish death on everyone who disagrees with them, and brag about all the misery they inflict on others. You can also find them at all the places listed above.

I have been here for many years, as well. I merely decided to consolidate my online identities - I used to go by Hearthspirit, as others have already guessed by my style.

As for the unpleasant, endlessly griping hysterical women; perhaps a book recommendation instead: "Wherever You Go, There You Are" (by Jon Kabat-Zinn.) It helped me stop hanging around people like that, like magic.

Ah Hearthspirit! Nice to see you again! I'm not here commenting every week so missed the return and new name.
