Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 90

seatbeltAs we proceed through the second year of these open posts, it's pretty clear that the official narrative is cracking as the toll of deaths and injuries from the Covid vaccines rises steadily and the vaccines themselves demonstrate their total uselessness at preventing Covid infection or transmission. It's still important to keep watch over the mis-, mal- and nonfeasance of our self-proclaimed health gruppenfuehrers, and the disastrous results of the Covid mania, but I think it's also time to begin thinking about what might be possible as the existing medical industry reels under the impact of its own self-inflicted injuries.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

Sean, I've missed your comments. Glad to see you posting here.

I too feel the wish for some sort of conclusion, it certainly has been ghastly tedious. My own take is that it's all a mind game.

I feel it. I wish there were a church I could join, but I have yet to find one in my area that I feel sufficiently comfortable with. How easily so many people were corrupted during covid. My trust level for religious institutions is below zero.

I just had an image of that horrible annoying Clippy office-assistant thing (from Windows in the late 1990s-early 200s, does anyone remember?) popping up to say with a maniacal smile,

It looks like you may be considering Wrongthink!
Would you like help maintaining Rightthink?
- Yes, help me with Rightthink
- No, just put me on a watchlist

I have been here for many years, as well. I merely decided to consolidate my online identities - I used to go by Hearthspirit, as others have already guessed by my style.

As for the unpleasant, endlessly griping hysterical women; perhaps a book recommendation instead: "Wherever You Go, There You Are" (by Jon Kabat-Zinn.) It helped me stop hanging around people like that, like magic.

Hello stranger,

That was what I gathered from last week's thread.

https://ecosophia.dreamwidth.org/230020.html?thread=40599428#cmt40599428

To be clear, the argument seems to be that the vaccination did not work as intended in many cases, thus rendering any prediction null and void.

(Anonymous) 2023-04-28 05:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Not really. I have a bicuspid aortic valve and have an aneurysm. I found out 6 years ago. No, mine has not dissected, but it's very possible. No. I'm not vaxxed.

Vision update!

(Anonymous) 2023-04-28 07:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Hello all,
I’ve posted before that I developed peripheral vision loss at some point after the vaccine roll out, although I never took the vaccine. I was concerned about this because contemplating this worsening to blindness was terrifying.

So I found my way to the most specialized doctor for this, a neuroopthalmologist. This process of getting to him and doing imaging took a year, during which time my vision stayed the same. In the end he was perplexed and could find no cause. Although there were some other issues that popped up - thyroid antibodies and Epstein Barr virus.

So I have focused primarily on supporting my immune system with guidance from a naturopath - supplements, minimizing stress and rest. All this felt positive, but I actually started noticing improvements just in the last few weeks when I started doing the healing breath meditation as taught by JMG.

Now I am mostly thinking of it in terms of the body being both literal and metaphorical. Interesting to me is that my vision narrowed as I felt the world was closing in on me with the mandates and their effect on my life.

I am trying now to open back up to the world but with stronger boundaries and with my eyes open. I did reach out to a friend who I felt rejected me due to vaccine (she requested testing after vaccine rollout, before I come to see her) And she responded kindly, apologized and was able to see my point of view. She recognized that she was acting out of fear.

Now my vision is not 100% but I can see portions of the periphery. Thank you to all with your responses. Those felt helpful and supportive too.

Thanks! More datapoints!

One of the things I've been pondering is the isolation that comes with electronic communication-- I feel like that is playing into things. Even for a generation raised on social media, suddenly being *forced* to socialize only by screen probably pushed a lot of people over some invisible line. It was fine when it was voluntary. Force-fed, though? Gorged to the point of nausea. This may have pushed a lot of people to go out and find some way to interact regularly with other people IRL.

On not being a hermit: church is definitely one way to do that. I tend that way too, and it is very helpful to me to have some kind of mandatory social interaction with other human beings scheduled into my week for me ;) Otherwise I'd just put it off indefinitely.

Thanks guys, it's nice to be remembered.
During lockdown I had all the time in world to read and comment, not any more.
Its easy to see how people can be so uninformed, I don't have children I just work long hours driving and I have barely any time now to read stuff.

Kind regards
Sean

This was the question asked of Geert together with his answer:

He isn't quite letting go of his prediction but it is taking a while to go the way he thought it would. Even he's noticed!

Methyl, mine is a solitary story. But I have certainly drawn closer to my personal patron, (St) Brigid, over the past three years. I no longer feel the day is complete if I have not done my devotions, and I feel grateful for that connection to the light in dark times.

However I am also connecting to a variety of people who are also feeling drawn to spiritual concerns, and only sometimes, not always, in the context of a community.

Still, I feel you are onto *something*. There are many people carefully tending their wee candles, oil lamps, and whatever else shines in their lives, as a way of walking through what some might call, or experience as, "the valley of the shadow of death".

Be well, be blessed, stay free!

Thanks so much for sharing this, Fred Smith.
As and when debates about 'what really happened' arise, it is crucial to have the evidence of these 'incentives' in black and white.

I will mention, in passing, that much to many people’s surprise, Canada’s Ministry of Truth (a.k.a. CBC news) aired a couple-minute piece on the National Citizens Inquiry when it was in Winnipeg a couple weeks back. The first surprise was that the CBC covered the event at all; the second surprise was that it was not a ‘hit piece’ labelling the NCI as a collection of rabidly right-wing insurrectionists – no, the piece actually approximated to some degree the truth. Utterly bizarre! It is here: https://rumble.com/v2i8004-cbc-news-coverage-of-the-national-citizens-inquiry-winnipeg-day-1.html

Apparently, someone is offering people cookies if they accept a chip in their arm down here in Oz:

All your medical data, keys, cards, the lot, in one place. . .

I'd been worried about the digital panopticon, vax passports etc. until now, because all I have to do to assume a new identity is hack off someone's arm! Simples :)

Tucker Out because of RFK Jr.

[personal profile] stcathalexandria 2023-04-28 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Sharing this theory I saw because it matches my priors and perhaps yours too -

Fox ousted Tucker because Tucker would have had RFK Jr. on many times as a presidential candidate and they didn't want to give RFK the platform to share his views on covid, vaccines, health of Americans in general, corporate greed, war profiteering, etc.

RFK's positions would likely gain popularity quickly and they couldn't bear the thought of people voting for a president who with positions people cared about!

My parents - avid Fox news watchers - have not heard anything about RFK, his positions, or even that he was running for president. They are both anti-covid vax and didn't do anything to "stop covid". They also don't do social media. But when I told them about RFK they were very interested in supporting him.

Interesting times continue!

army grounds aviators

(Anonymous) 2023-04-29 12:38 am (UTC)(link)
The U.S. Army has grounded aviation units for training after 12 soldiers died within the last month in helicopter crashes in Alaska and Kentucky, the military branch announced Friday.

Could they be having mid flight heart attacks? I don't think I'll be jumping in a helicopter any time soon.
