I asked it to quote the Lord's Prayer in Gothic, sort of sidelong by referencing Matthew 6:9-13. I guess its handle on Gothic is not very strong, because on different variations of the question and re-generations of the response, it gave me some versions that could conceivably have been textual variants (I don't know Gothic), but some other versions that were clearly partly confabulated (e.g. it seemed to lose its place in the middle of the part about "just as we forgive", and translated the result back for me as "And forgive us the debts of us / just as in heaven forgive us debt forgive our debtors") or quoting the wrong Bible passage entirely. It also sometimes spontaneously tried to quote the Lord's Prayer in English afterwards, as an ostensible helpful translation, though it took three tries to get it quite right. The first time, it stopped short after "as we forgive our debtors", apparently because the Gothic scripture quotation it was trying to translate had confabulated a duplicate verse without adjusting the implied verse numbering, and then had stopped there at the end of "verse 13". The second time it wrote "forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors", perhaps being distracted by partial meaning correspondences to the preceding mangled Gothic.
