The Modern Order of Essenes: Healer Lesson 3

IMPORTANT!
If you are prepared to receive the Healer attunement at this point, you need to post something here, so that we can schedule a day and time. I'm well aware that we all have busy lives, and my life just now is even busier than usual! So I will not simply be setting a time and date and doing a "come one, come all" attunement; I need to hear from potential candidates.
ESSENE HAND REFLEXOLOGY
Essene Hand Reflexology is a Zone Reflexology technique similar to the Essene Foot Reflexology. The hand is divided into four zones. The right hand represents the right side of the body and the left hand the left. The small finger side of the hand represents the respective side of the body farther from the spine. The thumb and pointer finger side of the hand represents the area just to the side of the spine.
The basic technique the Essene Healer teaches their clients to help cure their own aches, pains, diseases and injuries is:
1. Massage the back of your hand using light pressure
2. Massage the fingers and palm by squeezing them lightly
3. Rub the palm pad, palm and heel pad
4. Go through the four zones on each hand starting with the fingers
As you work your way through the four zones of your hand, use your thumb and fingers to locate areas of tenderness or pain. Put pressure on these tender areas until the tenderness or pain resides. Repeat the same process a second and third time with a little more pressure each time. Continue working your way through you right and left hands.
When you find areas of tenderness and pain in your hand, take your consciousness into the tenderness and pain and feel the emotion residing there. This emotion will be one of the Seven Emotional Complexes. Identify the emotion associated with the tender or sore area. Try to identify the stress residing beneath this emotion and release this stress.
HEAD ZONE – The Fingers
1. The fingertips represent the forehead and crown
2. The middle section represents the eyes, nose and ears
3. The bottom portion represents the mouth and jaws
4. The joint between palm and fingers represents the neck and shoulder tops
5. Resentments are usually stored in the throat, neck and jaw
6. Blame is usually stored in the Nasal and Sinus areas
SHOULDER AND CHEST ZONE - The Pad Beneath the Fingers
1. The finger-side of the top palm-pad represents the shoulders
2. The top palm-pad represents the chest and upper back
3. Anger is usually stored in the shoulders
4. Fear is usually stored in the chest and upper back
ABDOMINAL ZONE – The Concave Portion (Middle) of the Palm
1. The Solar Plexus is at the top of the Middle Palm
2. The Genitals are at the bottom of the Middle Palm
3. Sadness is stored in the area below the Heart
4. Shame is usually stored in the area of the Solar Plexus
5. Guilt is usually stored in the abdominal region
LEG ZONE – The Pad Beneath the Middle Palm and Above the Wrist
1. The Genitals are at the top of the Lower Palm Pad
2. The feet are at the joint between the hand and the wrist
3. Excess Anger is usually stored in the Upper Legs
4. Excess Fear is usually stored in the area of the Knees
5. Excess Sadness is usually stored in the Lower Legs
THE HANDS REFLECT THE ILLNESSES OF THE EMOTIONAL BODY
The illnesses of the emotional body are discussed in the Seven Emotional Complexes.
Here is an outline of those seven emotional complexes:
1. Love—Apathy, Indifference and Hatred
2. Humility—Inferiority/Superiority and Shame
3. Freedom—Bondage, Lack of Freedom and Guilt
4. Happiness—Sadness
5. Peacefulness—Anger
6. Joy—Fear
7. Forgiveness—Resentment and Blame
Essene Healing Breath Meditation
This material follows on the earlier discussion given in the Candidate grade, which you can find here.Phase Three: Overview
By the time you're ready to start Phase Three, you'll undoubtedly be able to complete Phase One within a few seconds. Your goal now is to be able to complete Phase Two within a few minutes as you continue to work your way through the steps of Phase Three.
The Window of Opportunity is a period of time during which you experience breathlessness. These periods of breathlessness occur at the end of an inhalation and at the end of an exhalation. These periods of breathlessness do not always last equal lengths of time. Due to individual differences, some people find one period lasts longer for them than the other. With practice, the length of time spent in each period of breathlessness does grow longer.
Some people still find it easier to utilize breathlessness at the end of an exhalation better than the breathlessness at the end of an inhalation. Others find it easier the other way around. Most people find it gets easier to utilize both periods of breathless with practice. Most people also find the length of time in the breathless state becomes easier to extend with practice. Finally, most people find the lengths of time of the breathless states become more equal with practice.
Continue to breathe deeply, extend your breathing, scan your body and relax as you watch your breath, listen to your breath, feel your breath and become aware of your periods of breathlessness, your windows of opportunity.
Stage Three: Step Seven – Establish your window of opportunity
As you breathe in, you momentarily stop breathing before you exhale. This momentary state of breathlessness deepens your meditation and it is what is called your "Window of Opportunity." You continue to relax, breath deeply, extend your breathing and watch, listen to and feel your in-breath, pause comfortably during this breathless state, and then watch, listen to and feel your exhalation. As you breathe out, you momentarily stop breathing before you inhale. This is your second Window of Opportunity during each breath cycle.
Once you become aware of and use your "Window of Opportunity" it will stay open while you continue to relax, breathe rhythmically, extend your breathing, watch, listen to and feel your breath. Your higher state of consciousness will close off all other intrusions once you establish a connection. You will become aware that your body and mind are in a state of suspended animation (asleep) but your higher mind is fully awake. This is the meditative state which was our goal to establish when we started with Phase One, Step One of the Essene Healing Breath Meditation
Continue to scan your body, relax, breathe deeply, extend your breathing, watch your breath, listen to the sound of your breath, feel your breath and become aware of your Window of Opportunity.
Phase Three: Step Eight – Extending your window of opportunity
As you practice with your Essene Healing Breath, you'll notice your state of breathlessness naturally and effortlessly expands. Remain calm and allow this to happen. Each Window of Opportunity is a short period of meditation.
As your mind becomes more and more occupied with paying attention to relaxing, breathing deeply, extending your breathing, watching, listening to, and feeling your breath, your mind becomes less and less active. This means you remember less and less about what's happened in
your life, imagine fewer and fewer future possibilities and think about life and things less and less during your window of opportunity. In this state your body becomes more and more relaxed and your mind actually becomes more and more alert. You reach a state of peace that deepens into a state of bliss.
This state is intoxicating and we want to experience more of it. Thus the Window of Opportunity expands into our periods of inhalation and exhalation. If you allow this to happen you'll eventually reach a state where your Window of Opportunity is continuously open. Yogis call this state a state of bliss. In the West we call this state the peace that passeth all understanding. This is Phase Three which is known as the State of No Mind.
Phase Three: Step Nine – Move your consciousness into your window of opportunity
As you become more and more relaxed, as you become less and less aware of your mind and as your window of opportunity widens, allow your consciousness to enter this window in order to accomplish the things you want to accomplish during your meditation.
By allowing your mind to go blank during the Window of Opportunity you attain a state known as Samadhi or Zen. In this state the mind is temporarily inactive as wave after wave of intense bliss wash over your being. In the West we call this state Communion with the Divine. As the Unconditional Love of the Universe permeates your being you become more than you were. You know how to resolve all situations in your life, how to do what needs to be done, how to become who and what you are to become in this lifetime, and the negativity in your life melts away. This is the highest state of meditation and with practice it deepens until you're in perfect communion with the Divine.
By concentrating on something you want to resolve or accomplish in your life, you enter into a state of deep contemplation. In this state you are able to accomplish miracles in your life, gain new skills and knowledge, wash away old pains, become more intuitive (psychic) and more in tune with life on all levels.
By setting your intention to do something before starting your meditation you can speak with your Guardian Angel, other angels, spirit guides, animal guides, plant or mineral spirits, elementals, or the spirits of departed friends and relatives. You can also astral travel, soul travel, visit your akashic records or commune with the Divine.
The Window of Opportunity provides you with the opportunity to accomplish your heart's desire, to become the person you want to become, to heal yourself and others, to speak with spirits, angels, elementals and divine beings as well as animals, plants and minerals. It's your opportunity to do and become whatever you desire.

I'll be looking to receive the Healer Attunement whenever we can schedule a time.
Thank you!

(Anonymous) 2023-02-02 07:17 pm (UTC)(link)Applicating for attunement
I've sarted to meditate on the papers. Your division between the four elements and the three forms of spirit is very usefull for those of us who are acquainted with them. A LOT of insight is quickly coming in!
I'm also practicing the blesssing walk on every ocasion, the Reflexology before going to bed, and the hand activation every morning and when it's required.
So i would like to postulate myself for attunement. I await your instructions.
Interested in attunement
I received the previous attunement and have (I believe) been practicing the material faithfully. I would be interested in continuing with the next attunement.
Thank you,
Paul

1) I have been very regular with Healing Hands Empowerment, the Blessing Walk, and meditation, fairly regular with using the healing hands, and have done the foot reflexology and muscle testing ~1-3 times a week since learning them. I'm also working on incorporating the Healer lessons into my understanding of what's going on with these practices. If that counts as "regularly practicing", I would be honored to schedule time for an attunement.
2) An online tool that might help with scheduling: calendly.com It requires signing up with an email, and the features are fairly limited with a free account, but it lets you define appointment blocks where you are available in a calendar and then you can share a link with people that want to schedule time with you. As folks take appointments, those slots go away. So, as long as you set up the initial availability accurately, it eliminates the need for back-and-forth messaging.
2a) A lower tech method reliant on process, rather than technology: request that anyone asking for a time provide at least 2-3 specific days/times that work for them, so that you can pick the one that works the best for you. This usually reduces back-and-forth exchanges by at least one or two "volleys".
3) I notice a couple of differences between the foot and hand reflexology methods, and I wonder if they are significant, or just a matter of "you do one one way, and the other the other" - for the foot, there is a lymphatic pump step, but not for the hand, and on the foot, you are instructed to go through the whole foot twice, which it doesn't seem to recommend for the hand. Is there anything to these differences worth considering that you know of?
4) Presumably, now that we know about the associations of the emotional complexes with parts of the body, it will be helpful to apply that when doing the foot reflexology as well. Is that right?
Thanks much,
Jeff

3) That's the way John taught it; since I haven't studied reflexology in any other context, that's as much as I know.
4) Yes, very much so. The Apprentice grade is more or less focused on physical illnesses; the Healer grade works with the interface between physical and emotional issues; and the Master grade focuses on emotional, psychological, and spiritual issues. So now that you're studying the Healer work, it's good to go back over the Apprentice materials and apply your new knowledge to those as well.

Essene Method and Reiki
(Anonymous) 2023-02-04 04:01 am (UTC)(link)I'm still digesting (or is it digesting me?) the attunement you gave in early January, and reading/re-reading the lessons prior this one. I'm happy to see that the coming attunement is a month away, as that may give me time to be ready. I don't feel I am now, even though technically I seem to meet the requirements.
Two questions, if you please:
If I remember correctly, John Gilbert was a Reiki master. I'm a level 2, and have practiced Reiki casually for several years. Ten minutes or so here and there, for friends and family. Unlike the Essene energy, which seems to just pop into my hands when it wants to be used, in my experience Reiki prefers to be called.
1) Do you know how John Gilbert viewed the difference between Essene energy and Reiki?
2) Do you know how he determined which energy to tap into/call on?
Thanks as always,
OtterGirl

I'm ready..lay it on me ;^)
As a sidenote, the breath meditation is very similar to one I was taught and have practiced for 43 years. I feel that the other aspects; the Blessing Walk, the hand and foot reflexology, Essene palm healing and Applied kinesiology flesh out what was missing on my particular path. When I received the meditation low these many years ago, it was implied that it was the one that all masters taught down through the ages. But, without the other aspects, it can become just a way to get high.
Thank you for your tireless efforts to pass on this knowledge.
March 4th Attunement
I would be interested in participating in the March 4th Attunement if possible.
Best Regards,
Ian
