Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 75
As we proceed through the second year of these open posts, it's pretty clear that the official narrative is cracking as the toll of deaths and injuries from the Covid vaccines rises steadily and the vaccines themselves demonstrate their total uselessness at preventing Covid infection or transmission. It's still important to keep watch over the mis-, mal- and nonfeasance of our self-proclaimed health gruppenfuehrers, and the disastrous results of the Covid mania, but I think it's also time to begin thinking about what might be possible as the existing medical industry reels under the impact of its own self-inflicted injuries. So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:
1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.
2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.
3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.
4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religious, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.
With that said, the floor is open for discussion.
Unity Convoy Update
(Anonymous) 2023-01-11 02:01 am (UTC)(link)Lots has happened since the initial announcement on December 25. It started out with loads of unity… and then suddenly it wasn’t. Last week was rather rough as some egos seemed to get expressed and some supposed alt-media types (not Rebel or True North or any of the legit alt outfits, mind you) turned out to be wolves in sheep’s clothing. And, of course, the MSM started churning out with the smoke and mirrors in earnest (c’est la vie). For a while, things were looking shaky.
And then over the weekend Bigbear (Métis healer with a heart as wide as a barn door, 100% positive all the time, who is also a trucker and hard-core freedom fighter) took the high road and has managed to keep the convoy on course. And what a difference Bigbear has made! He and Freedom George (Pat King’s sidekick from last year’s Freedom Convoy) have formed a great team (I’m not even sure if Pat will be able to attend: his bail conditions are so strict he is living in a virtual prison), along with “Mr. Freedom”, Ron Clark and many others. Convoys are being arranged and organized from every province; dozens of new convoy captains are being nominated with each passing day; many very important Clan Mothers have stated their intention of participating in the Eighth Fire ceremony in the Heart of Turtle Island (i.e., Winnipeg); many other Indigenous Elders have committed to speaking at the event (along with medical doctors, freedom fighters, etc.). And the epicentre of the convoy will be outside the city (so as to not inconvenience the city’s residents). Unity and healing are the key notes of what is building up. On top of it all (I just found this out), the Feb 17 weekend also coincides with Winnipeg’s annual Louis Riel celebration. Wow!
Call it a Canadian thing: a big love-in in the middle of winter in the coldest city (with a population over 200,000) in the country. More news as and when interesting things develop… honk honk!

I have no doubt that there will active attempts to infiltrate and divide.
May those of big hearts full of healing and blessing succeed in their intentions for holding the centre!

(Anonymous) 2023-01-14 08:24 am (UTC)(link)I had the privilege in my law school's property law class of often sitting next to a member of the Turtle Mountain Band from North Dakota's border with Manitoba. He grew up speaking French thanks to his Metis relatives so I'd translate our professor's English to French for him sometimes. His home was close to the International Peace Garden which straddles the US/Canada border SW of Winnipeg.
February on those Manitoba plains... I've been there that time of year. Mother Nature is very humbling to any people who venture outside there.
Whoot! What a place to have a convoy meet-up and an Eighth Fire, too.
