Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 70

me neitherAs we proceed through the second year of these open posts, it's pretty clear that the official narrative is cracking as the toll of deaths and injuries from the Covid vaccines rises steadily and the vaccines themselves demonstrate their total uselesness at preventing Covid infection or transmission. It's still important to keep watch over the mis-, mal- and nonfeasance of our self-proclaimed health gruppenfuehrers, and the disastrous results of the Covid mania, but I think it's also time to begin thinking about what might be possible as the existing medical industry reels under the impact of its own self-inflicted injuries.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religious, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

Hello Scotlyn, you wrote-

[But]"causality causes correlation."

Bingo. Thank you for that.

Perhaps I would add: "Something caused that correlation, so why not take a peek behind the kimono, eh?"

or perhaps "Why not assume it's the vex until proven otherwise?"

Re: Pulse oximeter

(Anonymous) 2022-12-10 06:47 pm (UTC)(link)
True enough. I should emphasize how important symptoms are in interpreting data like low pulse ox, low fluid intake, etc. If someone looks bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, then they're very likely in no imminent danger.

In everyday life, symptoms are the chief signal, and the data provide us clues that we may have to act. Alarming data without alarming symptoms shouldn't prompt an ER visit.

I'm trying to keep this simple.

That’s terrible

“…Rod Stewart… labelled antivaxxers as 'killers' who should not have the right to refuse the vaccine”

The quaint old twentieth century notion that there is or ought to be such a thing as human rights, including the right to informed medical consent, seems to have gone completely up the spout. I cannot express how disgusting I find this.

I hope the kid’s okay. This doesn’t seem like a good sign, but maybe there are some treatments that can help.

No house, no job, no/few resources, no company, no buying or selling. . .

And you aren't getting bored?

Congratulations. You're a more imaginative fellow than I am.

Covidian Herbalists

[personal profile] frittermywig 2022-12-10 09:12 pm (UTC)(link)
I took a bus across town today to visit, for the first time, an herbalist in my blue-city within a red-state. I wanted some health advice, but I was also excited at the opportunity to make connections with the local alternative health scene. My heart sank when I saw the "masks required" sign out front. I opened the door to confirm and it's true, they won't let me in without a mask. "Have a nice day," is what my mouth said as I walked away.

I don't have a credentialist bone in my body, but I'm going to start taking it as a red flag when none of the principals of a health care establishment have any background in hard sciences. The onus is going to be on the doula/arborist/educator/vipassana-expert to show me she knows what she's doing and masks, obviously, are a strong counter-indicator.

I've missed a lot of the recent Ecosophian conversation. Are we making any progress thinking about what might be possible as the existing medical industry reels under the impact of its own self-inflicted injuries? Any tips for finding local non-covidian health practitioners?

One might also mention that the lack of curiosity on the part of the CDC and media about this extraordinary correlation is itself noteworthy.

Listening to them chant "correlation does not imply causality" like a mantra makes it seem like they're trying to condition us to believe "correlation disproves causality". Wake up!

"Uhm - why do _I_ have to prove that these shots aren't dangerous? These are novel products. There is a very striking correlation here, with thousands of people dead, and many more injured.

You're advocating for people to take a novel drug? Go proof to me that it's safe - and good luck finding the data to support that!"

If one doesn't want to comply with the bio-digital thing that's coming, then it seems to me that one would need to find another meaningful way to live outside of society without capital or ownership of means of production, or probably become bored and try to fill the void with drugs etc.

Perhaps one could irritate other people? Point out their hypocrisy and failings etc. as a way to derive meaning and purpose?

Make a game of one's deprivation? Give up a material possession each day, get along without it, then try to beat one's latest personal record for simplicity/austerity by giving up something else?

Those sorts of activities seem to have worked for Diogenes.

A modern revival of cynicism?

The philosophy of cynicism (it's not just negative) seems ready made for this:

"For the Cynics, the purpose of life is to live in virtue, in agreement with nature. As reasoning creatures, people can gain happiness by rigorous training and by living in a way which is natural for themselves, rejecting all conventional desires for wealth, power, and fame, and even flouting conventions openly and derisively in public. Instead, they were to lead a simple life free from all possessions."

Living in a way that is natural for oneself. . . Rejecting ALL possessions. . . Rejecting ALL conventional desires. . . I can imagine that would be 'challenging', but at least it sounds like it could be authentic, and not totally self-destructive.

Is it ideal? Well, not if one likes having any 'stuff' and the comfort and security that it provides, but the approach seems preferable to huffing aerosols etc. And one will have to either play along, accept however many needles etc, or renounce it all anyway.

One last thought, the powers that be within the system are happy to let refuseniks do nothing at all, or waste away on drugs etc, but they will be less tolerant of challenges to their authority. Just last night on TV I saw a clip of a couple of cops spearing an old man face first into the pavement for wearing a cheeky sandwich board sign in public.

One would need to harden oneself right up. Not the most attractive thought either, but if that's what it takes. . .

Until someone demonstrates how to make the sorts of technologies which currently use rare earth metals without using them, I think it's safe to say they will be required for decades, given how long it usually takes for a new technology to be developed, if it's possible at all.

It was brutal. It was really brutal. And for some people it was much, much, much harder than it was for other people, you'll get no argument from me about that.

My heart breaks for so many people and what they went through.

That said, imagination is necessary for defense of sanity, no matter what. Many POWs have much to teach in this regard.

Husband of Biden's covid advisory team dies suddenly in Qatar

(Anonymous) 2022-12-10 11:37 pm (UTC)(link)
A sports journo named Grant Wahl died suddenly and unexpectedly in Qatar, while covering the world cup. His brother claims he got murdered. I agree with him except that the poison shot is the most likely "murderer". First of all, he died in front of thousands of people, not in a hotel room or a back alley. Moreover, on twitter, Wahl, his brother and most importantly his wife had been injection crazy. His wife compared taking the poison shot with wearing the seat belt.

And why not, given that "She was a member of the COVID-19 Advisory Board transition team of U.S. President-Elect Joe Biden."

I wish I had some for you. I see more of a house cleaning on the part of the establishment that JMG has mentioned before. Now that the we are under threat we must close ranks. Here in my blue west coast "enlightened" state, my wife just went in a few weeks ago for her first appointment for a new pregnancy. Following our past experiences with the health establishment she went with a very specific list of what she was willing to submit to in terms of medical treatment and a list of questions about what happens in the event of a hospital trip as we are planning to have a home birth. She was pretty much turned out of the office. The "midwife" that she spoke to after the nurse informed her that because we were planning a homebirth the clinic (which is the only establishment OB clinic in this county) would not see her. Period. FOR ANYTHING. Their policy, in our most liberal of progressed states, is apparently that if you refuse to come birth in the hospital they will not provide prenatal care for you at all.

Our last birth ended up with a nasty and unnecessary NICU stay and with the head physician informing us that he didn't care what our opinion was he would just do whatever he wanted. That was in a different part of the country and my wife was hoping for better here. So, she asked about the lady about parents' rights in refusal of care etc to which the lady responded, "so you just want your baby to die then?"

Yea... I have no answer about what to do instead, but I do think a first step is to stop using establishment medicine at all and the powers that be seem to be making that pretty easy.

Re: Solar Prayers on Sunday for the Possibly Vaccine Injured

(Anonymous) 2022-12-11 12:19 am (UTC)(link)
Thank you for the information, Quin! I'll do my normal morning prayer and then try something special in the early afternoon. Amaterasu was added to my altar recently as one of the local deities honored in my community, and I really haven't addressed her specifically. One of the priests at Tsubaki Taisha in Suzuka near Nagoya was counseling a friend from Austin, Texas on creating a shrine. (I haven't stayed in touch to hear how it went for him--I couldn't be enticed into joining Facebook.) He said John should not attempt to enshrine Amaterasu there, as she is Japan's prime deity, although I've heard of a shrine in Colorado predating that which honors her. I've been thinking for a while, though, that since I have her on my altar, I really ought to find a way to honor her specifically. All the others (the Ancestral Trinity, Kotohira, Sarutahiko and the Hakone Trinity) are long-time friends. Amaterasu is mentioned a total of once in the Fuji Faith liturgy, together with Jinmu Jingu and Meiji Jingu, who appear to have been added at the time of the Shinbutsu Bunri (separation of Shinto and Buddhism https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shinbutsu_bunri) by government decree in the Meiji Era, when Shugendo was split up and each sect had to choose to be one or the other. I would think Amaterasu herself would be about as happy about being a political football as Jesus would be. That's just my feeling, but I'll go ahead at about 1:00 today (after we finish eating and walking the cats, which seems to coincide with each hour of the sun, except in the very early hours, and after giving the Rokkonshojo purification prayer in Kotohiragu's format (which starts off by naming her--Fuji Faith's says "Ohmi-Oya no Kami," which translates as "Heavenly Father"), I'll address a prayer specifically to her (just by chance I recieved yesterday afternoon new plaques from our shrine for Amaterasu and the Hakone Trinity, and if that isn't a hint, then what is?). To the standard kamidana prayer given in Ann Evans' book, I'll add a clause of supplication. (Basically, quickly clear up the disease currently spreading among all people in which the heart (shinzo) is in disorder, sweep and purify the eyes, brain and heart/spirit (kokoro), we ask respectfully for you to hear us equanimously and peacefully, let there be no illness in their body or distress in their spirit, help them stand and flourish...) I've used mostly standard phrasings, and will perform this today. If you have any requests, I'll try to include them subsequently.

Wait, Goatgirl-
I've changed my mind for a few reasons...

Haven't checked email in weeks and want to less and less so please take the time to honor MY time and tell me directly what YOU think I oughta or WANT to know right here. It's part of the whole reason I'm here.

Third reason is I don't click links and El Gato was right about worm actually finally turning and I'll leave it at that for now as I'm finger typing and respecting you with full and proper spelling is me honoring you with anachronisms so please don't take my 90s era directness for rudeness.
