As we proceed through the second year of these open posts, it's pretty clear that the official narrative is cracking as the toll of deaths and injuries from the Covid vaccines rises steadily and the vaccines themselves demonstrate their total uselesness at preventing Covid infection or transmission. It's still important to keep watch over the mis-, mal- and nonfeasance of our self-proclaimed health gruppenfuehrers, and the disastrous results of the Covid mania, but I think it's also time to begin thinking about what might be possible as the existing medical industry reels under the impact of its own self-inflicted injuries.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religious, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

Why not draw your own conclusions?

I don't know enough to be able to figure out how to tell if either of those are involved.

As I noted in earlier comments, demonic activity typically involves two phases: first, the demons try to bully, seduce, or trick as many people as possible into doing something disastrous, and do everything they can to hide the consequences from their victims until they've gotten as many people as they're likely to get; then the mask comes off, and they go out of their way to torment the people they've caught, so they can cause as much misery, anguish, and despair as they can manage. When you see that two-stage trajectory, demonic involvement is likely.

Divine wrath is different. It produces a total blindness to consequences that leads straight to destruction. A person who's earned the wrath of a deity simply has their mind scrambled so that they march straight to their own doom, convinced that they're doing the right thing and that everything is fine. When the god of the Old Testament explains to Moses that he's "hardening the heart" of the Egyptian pharaoh, that's what's being discussed; you can see the same thing in more detail in Euripides' harrowing play The Bacchai, where King Pentheus is the designated victim.

The two can be difficult to tell apart -- not surprisingly, as both involve a spiritual being tampering with a human mind in a destructive manner. One point worth noting is that demons do not understand this world at all, and they don't understand human beings; their thinking, from our perspective, follows a bizarre sort of antilogic -- what I've described as "1 + 1 = petunia." People under the influence of demons think in equally bizarre ways. Gods, on the other hand, understand the world and human beings much better than human beings do, and their logic has a terrible precision to it; it may make sense only in retrospect, but it always makes sense.

So there are the two hypotheses. What do you think?

I really can’t tell yet but the approval to put the medical experiment on the childhood schedule truly felt demonic. And as horrible as I have felt since that day, if demons do not understand us, then is this a mess they make and leave behind? Is there reason for hope?

When I think about what’s been done, I am furious. I had to use all my strength not to succumb to it. I dug deep and concluded that the way to fight is simply say no but it’s not so easy. I’m not sure how my resolve can hold if my child is accepted to any of the schools we’re applying to. To my spouse, education is paramount, to me the soul matters so much more and I can’t accept the mark of the devil for any education.

It’s the ticking time bomb under my marriage.

I sure hope your kid doesn't get this vaccine for the sake of their health, but please don't go telling them anything like that they will lose their soul if they do! They're going to go out in the world and meet plenty of other young people who got vaxxed (often by their parents' choice) and clearly aren't soulless or demon-possessed. You'd be setting yourself up to be one of those estranged parents who gets talked about on the internet: "I haven't seen my dad in 20 years because he's a religious nut who says I have the mark of the devil and I'm afraid to be alone in a room with him." Don't be that guy.

Good advice and thank you. It's why this is 'the' only place I ponder and occasionally express these things. The fight, if it comes, will be strictly on health grounds but in my heart of hearts, well, you know...

Is it possible that both may be occurring more or less simultaneously?
There are aspects of the current situation that strike me as falling under the category heading of “1+1=petunia,” and others that seem to resonate with the “terrible precision” that you speak of.
Are there historic examples of demonic activity and Divine wrath “overlapped,” for lack of a better word?

I don't know of an example. Usually, if the gods decide to give demons free reign, they just step back and watch the carnage.

Could something like the current events only be either-or, i.e. either caused by demons or by gods? Or are there any other „higher forces“ which could somehow be involved?

(I‘m not trying to be nitpicking here, this is a sincere consideration - in real life, there are usually more than the most obvious two options.)

PS: Just a random data point: In my area of the woods, most of what I have seen hasn‘t been of the petunia type, although a few select people (I‘m totally not looking at our current health minister!) in some instances got close with their „logic“.

However, most of what I have seen, scary as it was, were people clinging tooth and nails to some narrative they didn‘t want to give up - more like 2 + 2 = 5-because-we-say-so rather than 1 + 1 = petunia.

But then the majority of the people seems to be ready to leave it all behind, dust themselves off and just move on to never think about or speak of it again (unless you hit the right keywords, in which case they‘ll utter a few pre-rehearsed nonsensical statements about the dangers of long-covid, and then promptly turn around to live their lives again). That doesn‘t quite feel like „marching over the cliff until the bitter end“ either.

I‘m not quite sure what to make of that with regards to the above distinction. But on the other hand, it sure does feel as if there are some higher forces at work.

OP here. What I find fascinating about it is that it seems like the general public is facing a demonic influence, the core of True Covidians seems to be cursed by a god. I have no idea what to make of it, but it does seem to fit the facts better than either hypothesis on its own. Hmm....

That is exactly what it looks like to me. But I can't explain it either.
