Vintage Worlds Kickstarter

***9/16/20 update: Founders House Publishing has decided to sweeten the deal to encourage people to contribute to the Kickstarter. Everyone who kicks something in -- including those who have already signed up -- will also receive a copy of my first novel, The Fires of Shalsha -- a SF adventure set on a colony planet, which one of its reviewers described as resembling Seven Samurai as rewritten by Ursula K. Le Guin. Here are some details on the book...and you may want to have a copy, if you don't have one already, because the sequel -- Journey Star -- is finished in draft and in the middle of final revisions. Stay tuned for another announcement!***
Thanks for the reminder

I’ll chip in with the ebook bundle, nine books sounds like an awesome deal to me! I also look forward to reading Violet’s Zookie Must Die . I saw that there was a add-on option and was hoping to add your novels Retrotopia and Star’s Reach for a fair price. If at all possible to add that option or a similar one, I would happily contribute some more. Something like an “Ultimate ebook bundle for the long descent” maybe?

"Twenty years have passed since The Fires of Shalsha. With the battle-drones gone forever, the Halka turned their whole force against the outrunners -- the cannibal tribespeople who live off past the edges of settlement -- and defeated them. Now the Halka have no more enemies to fight, and the Convention of Zara that has governed Eridan for more than two centuries is fraying. Just then, a first faint radio signal reaches Eridan from outer space, sending a thirteen-year-old outrunner girl, the old sen Halka who has adopted her, and Jerre Amadan -- the last survivor of the Bredin Shelter network -- on a quest that will take them into orbit, to the colony ship that brought human beings to Eridan: Journey Star..."

The Fires of Shalsha is one of the few books ended in a way that was mostly complete and didn't leave a lot that really begged for a sequel. Areas that were open to one but to me they were not super compelling story lines.
In WOH Red Hook Justin under the influence ( :-) ) brought back a lot of Jerre and the dwimmerwine.
Hopefully I'll have some books to give around Xmas.

75% Funded

I could use some more print copies of Star's Reach (I "loan" them to friends) and a print Retrotopia, so if you want to allow those volumes as add-ons, name the price.
