Magic Monday

[ecosophia]

 As noted on the blog last Wednesday, instead of an "ask me anything" post this week on ecosophia.net, I'll be hosting a "Magic Monday" today. What does that mean? It means "ask me anything about occultism, and I'll post an answer here." Since this Monday is a busy day for a lot of people, being sacred to two popular religions -- Christianity on the one hand, and Consumerism on the other -- if comments trickle in on Tuesday et al., I'm not going to be a stickler for the point. 

That said, have at it!

Yes, yes, and the regular practice of any magical or spiritual technique that puts you into harmony with the natural world.

Thank you for the reply and so be it.

Harmony is a curious word, but yeah I hear you. If nature has taught me anything it is that it can be simultaneously beautiful and terrifying among other attributes and experiences. Last night one of my dogs killed a fox cub. It was the second in as many weeks. The fox cub is now feeding the worms, which in turn feed the soil, which in turn feeds the plants that the many marsupials that live here feed on. The fox cub would have taken a few of the young marsupials (not the older ones) in its time. Such circularity is not lost on me and well, I can see that I'm not apart from that loop. It is pretty awesome to contemplate and know that sooner or later your lucky numbers will turn up.
