In other words, "God is on our side." History teaches that when you hear those words, you're about to witness atrocities, self-defeating stupidities, or both. And the notion that there's no risk involved in flinging around curses -- dear gods. This is just not going to end well at all.

I haven't read Hughes' book; I'll probably have to do so at some point, but it's not at all something I'm looking forward to. That said, I'm sure you're far from the only person on the alt-Right who's busy paging through it with pen in hand, noting down all the weak points and design failures!
