Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 199

remember thisWe are now in the fourth year of these open posts. When I first posted a tentative hypothesis on the course of the Covid phenomenon, I had no idea that discussion on the subject would still be necessary more than three years later, much less that it would turn into so lively, complex, and troubling a conversation. Still, here we are. Crude death rates and other measures of collapsing public health are anomalously high in many countries, but nobody in authority wants to talk about the inadequately tested experimental Covid injections that are the most likely cause; public health authorities government shills for the pharmaceutical industry are still trying to push through laws that will allow them to force vaccinations on anyone they want; public trust in science is collapsing; and the story continues to unfold.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry and its government enablers are causing injury and death on a massive scale. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its wholly owned politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you plan on making off topic comments, please go away. This is an open post for discussion of the Covid epidemic, the vaccines, drugs, policies, and other measures that supposedly treat it, and other topics directly relevant to those things. It is not a place for general discussion of unrelated topics. Nor is it a place to ask for medical advice; giving such advice, unless you're a licensed health care provider, legally counts as practicing medicine without a license and is a crime in the US. Don't even go there.

5. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

6. Please don't just post bare links without explanation. A sentence or two telling readers what's on the other side of the link is a reasonable courtesy, and if you don't include it, your attempted post will be deleted.

Please also note that nothing posted here should be construed as medical advice, which neither I nor the commentariat (excepting those who are licensed medical providers) are qualified to give. Please take your medical questions to the licensed professional provider of your choice.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

I am fairly confident that where I am is heavily vaxed. The talk of fertility issues made me think about the fact it has now been close to a year since I I noticed I have not seen a baby in a very long time. I walk and bus a lot, and so I am out in public quite a bit; and just under a year ago now I noticed that I hadn't seen a baby in a while. I wrote it down as odd and didn't think much of it, until the discussion of fertility declines recently; and I still have not seen a baby anywhere. There are plenty of toddlers and little kids; but even the toddlers are starting to get scarce now, as they grow up.

This is exactly what I'd expect to see if there really is a massive fertility crisis, and so my assessment of the likelihood of serious issues has gone up since I made the connection. Has anyone else noticed a lack of babies where they live?

I live outside of a town I sometimes affectionately refer to as Mormonville, and am happy to report that babies are still quite common, including to women I know to be vaxxed, although there seems to be a connection between vaxxes and high risk pregnancies, it could be an illusion due to people who talk about their health to everyone being people who talk about their health to everyone.

Two points: Idaho was low on vax taking (as it has been since the failure of the polio vax decades ago) and those who did take the vax are generally older.

The vaxxed moms with high risk pregnancies appear to have babies with no problems other than those due to the pregnacy complications.

My wife and I have also noticed this. In Serbia, where we live, there are tons of babies and the many parks are packed with children every afternoon. We can’t go to a cafe without seeing at least two or three new bones there as well. However when we visit Croatia or Washington State our 8 month d daughter gets tons of attention because she seems to be the only baby in 100 miles. Older people especially like to see her and tell us how happy they are to see her. Official vaccination rates for Covid in Serbia are around 48 percent. Serbia was supplied the Sputnik vaccines from Russia as well as western vaccines although I do not know which vaccines were most commonly administered. Aside from some doctors, I have not met a single Serb that got the vaccine and everyone I know speaks ill of it. There is also lots of anti vaccine graffiti.

Hm, I thought at least for my country maybe it´s also the situation in not-too-far-away Ukraine and resulting economic uncertainties that people might rethink their family-planning. An indication would be how much more people turn to the medical programms to reproduce. But my immediate circle of people are mostly out of the family-starting fase,so I might not get the proper picture.

Another possible factor is economics--Canada is severely in trouble in that regard.

My husband and I married 10 years ago and were emotionally ready for kids then but we waited because we were never doing well enough financially to feel like the risk was worth it. (I should say, that was his feeling, not mine, but I did agree that it would be nice to raise kids in better financial circumstances than what I grew up in.) It was only when I lost my job because of mandates--the job that was supposed to change all that for us and allow us to finally start a family--that we decided screw it, we're just going to try regardless our money situation because we're running out of time.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are plenty of couples who feel in the same boat as we did for years, now that Canada's economy is doom-spiralling and more people are hurting.

Personal anecdote: I know two women, both jabbed, who have recently had healthy babies. One was a high-risk pregnancy but I'm pretty sure a lot of those issues are from stuff pre-jab--she'd been dealing with fertility issues for years already.
