Yes, it was Salem, MA. There's a Boston-area lodge of a magical order that's had me teach some classes, and they meet in a Masonic lodge in a small town not far from Salem, so Salem's where I stay.

For some reason I find Massachusetts very comfortable. It's not the politics, certainly, and to the best of my knowledge I didn't have a past life there, but I've spent time in Boston, Newburyport, and Salem, and found all three very pleasant.
