I've seen on Dmitry Orlov beside paywall a comment on a post where someone said that they are preparing a second pandemic, one commenter said that they have a friend working in security and that they prepare to totally control Internet for the event. Obviously this is will speculation and hearsay.


But, when these things are tested this could explained, CDN and other balancers also can throw 5xx errors, which might explain why they don't experience issues in other part of the World.
