Oh dear gods, yes. Tech-bro Buddhism would make the Buddha himself puke. I hope to see Hindu mysticism get more traction here in the US, as it's wholly incompatible with any kind of atheist materialism; it would also be nice to see more attention paid to the kind of Buddhism I mostly connect to, Japanese esoteric Buddhism, which is very comfortable with Shinto's 8,000,000 gods and doesn't offer much room for atheist materialism either. And of course there are all the rich and varied Western occult traditions, ditto...
