Re: The failure of spirituality

1) It really depends on the tradition. Some branches of Buddhism, for example, traditionally teach logic to monks and have them study the Buddhist scriptures to get their brains working well; others don't.

2) I've covered it in nearly all of my books of magical instruction. The most detailed discussion so far is in The Druidry Handbook; I'm planning on an entire book on the subject fairly soon.
