I have long been curious about the cauldron locations in the DA cauldrons exercise. Naively, if man is viewed as a microcosm, it seems as though the solar cauldron would be up high in the head (closer to spirit above) and the lunar cauldron in the chest (corresponding to sprit within). I have had thoughts on the reason for the given locations, but nothing I’ve found entirely satisfying. Though I strongly expect advice to meditate on this further, might you have any hints on the significance and meaning of the cauldron locations?
