Saw that one. Tucked the headline in my back pocket. Waiting to see if it remains an isolated incident.

Any rich dude might look like a profitable death to his potential heirs. Any corporate CEO may have ticked off any number of colleagues or competitors. Anybody involved in a large lawsuit/lawsuits might be found inconvenient to codefendants.

But if anything else happens to make it *not* isolated, that will change the picture substantially.

It is fascinating that, out on the intertubes where I have seen this headline pop up... sympathy for the victim is very hard to find. I've seen a few people try to force it, or invoke principle. But it may as well have been somebody shooting a terrorist, going by the public reaction. That says a lot about where we are, as a country.
