Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 172

how's that for a recordWe are now in the fourth year of these open posts. When I first posted a tentative hypothesis on the course of the Covid phenomenon, I had no idea that discussion on the subject would still be necessary more than three years later, much less that it would turn into so lively, complex, and troubling a conversation. Still, here we are. Crude death rates and other measures of collapsing public health are anomalously high in many countries, but nobody in authority wants to talk about the inadequately tested experimental Covid injections that are the most likely cause; public health authorities government shills for the pharmaceutical industry are still trying to push through laws that will allow them to force vaccinations on anyone they want; public trust in science is collapsing; and the story continues to unfold.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry and its government enablers are causing injury and death on a massive scale. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its wholly owned politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you plan on making off topic comments, please go away. This is an open post for discussion of the Covid epidemic, the vaccines, drugs, policies, and other measures that supposedly treat it, and other topics directly relevant to those things. It is not a place for general discussion of unrelated topics. Nor is it a place to ask for medical advice; giving such advice, unless you're a licensed health care provider, legally counts as practicing medicine without a license and is a crime in the US. Don't even go there.

5. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

Please also note that nothing posted here should be construed as medical advice, which neither I nor the commentariat (excepting those who are licensed medical providers) are qualified to give. Please take your medical questions to the licensed professional provider of your choice.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

The peanut butter thing is more complicated, it is better to have a peanut butter free table. Peanut butter and other nuts are a main dietary component for vegan and some other allergic children. If they cant bring it, they go hungry. All the "alternate" meats or cheeses are first of all highly processed foods that arent healthy and second very expensive. I had to go thru this whole thing twice for my youngest. SHe had to be allowed to bring nuts, peanuts, to school as it was all I could afford that she could eat.

I had a dog stop and look at me recently on the street. Just look up at me. The owner and I were friendly and very briefly chatted about her dog.
But I think the dog knew I didn't have the V in me.

I remember you writing about this. I remember the image of being seated in a different room with the windows open!

I looked into attending an eastern Orthodox church here in this big city and found a website and gagged at the 'obedience to authorities' nonsense.

Best wishes to you!

I suspect there is much, much more COVID than the government wants anyone to know about. The reason I think this is all kinds of help is available for COVID victims from large businesses. That said, you don’t want to get it, it’s awful. I spent a week in the hospital. Curiously, Sonkitten started to get it and shook it right off, thank God. I didn’t find out i had it until the hospitalist said “OKAY, you have COVID, and at your age [65] you will probably be dealing with it for a while.” Driving Sonkitten to the grocery store knocks me out for the rest of the day. If you find yourself unusually weak, see a doctor if possible (although when dealing with coronaviruses, there’s a limited amount a doctor can do for you). I fear this is going to explode what With holidays and cold weather coming. Today’s

I see people at the local. retirement home on a busy street. No park but a few benches. Most don't look like they're doing that great.
Some of them are younger than me.

Maybe in some places ultra virtuous for sure but i don't know if this group is. Just ordinary zombies in late capitalism.

I have one 'friend' I chat with as I pass by when she smokes at the edge of the parking lot. I hope she makes it to spring.

Food Additives

My son was strongly affected by everything that was not real food. Every coloring, preservative, stabilizer, emulsifier and additive would send him up the walls, literally. He would run full speed from one end of our apartment, jump up and put his feet on the walls, run to the other end and jump again, for forty five minutes. That is what a manic episode looks like in a six year old.

I started making everything from scratch from real ingredients: salad dressing, bread, desserts, cookies, mac and cheese, school lunches, etc. It was very helpful.

He has a job doing computer stuff for an insurance company now. He still keeps up his discipline of healthy cooking and exercise. He says it is the only way for him to function.

How truly inspiring that dear, lovely Tedros could spare a thought for all the disadvantaged unfortunates of the world!

I am so moved I fear the tears will leave this keyboard awash.

And it's comforting to know that such tender-hearted professionals are watching over us. Watching so closely......

( I have personal knowledge of the people at WHO HQ, in the office of the Director, and quite apart from their performance during the 'pandemic', I have not met a group of more greedy, indolent, careerist, arrogant (and racist people) outside banking: and they have diplomatic immunity too!)

Dogs see a lot of things we don't see, it would not surprise me. More likely, the dog smelled the difference. I've read elsewhere (sorry I don't have the link) that dogs can smell the jabs on people.

On a happy note, I saw someone the other day whom I know took at least one jab (probably more) and ended up in the hospital with adverse reactions back in 2022, but honestly, she looked great. Her energy I can only describe as clean and sunny. I have no idea what she's been doing. It's not a relationship such that I would ask. But it was wonderful to see.

Hi Tamar, Thanks for sharing this, and may your dog feel ever better!

I've been seeing lots of reports of cancers responding to antivirals, it's very, very encouraging. I am so glad to hear this.

PS This is not medical advice, just my experience: to strengthen their defenses, once in a while I give my dogs a bit of raw honey mixed with a little pollen and a splash of milk to get it to blend. They like it with their food. I give each about a tablespoon. Also strengthening for them are boiled eggs, especially the yolks.

If anyone is ever interested in moving beyond industrial dog food, I can recommend Rudi Edelati's book Barker's Grub: Easy, Wholesome Home-Cooking for Dogs. (If anyone grew up on a ranch in times before industrial kibble, they'll probably find this all cooking for dogs just... not too complicated. It turns out that it's pretty much what dogs always got, funky bits of meat and bones and peoples' leftovers. For the rest of us, it seems, it takes some Overton Window opening to consider cooking for dogs. Rudi Edelati's book includes some special recipes for dogs with various health issues, however, so for me it's a worthwhile book to keep in the kitchen.)

She is getting spoiled right now with the daily forest walks, which previously was more of a weekend thing. But I love it. And the forest is beautiful here, I just feel thankful. I must admit, before getting our dog we didn’t go out and walk quite so much either.

If you saw her now you wouldn’t think that she has cancer. Every day seems a little better. -t

Thank you so much transcriberb! I appreciate the recommendation, I’ll look into that book. I don’t plan to ever buy kibble again, or any dog food for that matter. Even the basic raw meat dog food at the pet store is very expensive and nothing special. It looks like mashed meat put into little shapes, my dog won’t even consider it. But home cooked meals or raw actual meat and she’s all about it! -t

I suppose that in my experience it is truer to say that making best provision for whatever may come, and making peace with whatever does come, IS "living in reality".

Of course, your mileage may vary.

Currently reading through Jacques Ellul's *Propaganda* and it is illuminating! He explains how this works. The constant stream of new news, marching through, one topic this week, another one next, never allowing the consumer to settle in and think about one thing before the next one is presented-- this is a technique that actively prevents critical thinking, and the normal consumer of news literally cannot remember any news from as long as... a whole two months ago. It's gone. The news can contradict itself all it wants, every item erases the last one.

I confess about half of my dog's diet is industrial, but the other half is cheap cooked meat and whatever leftovers we have. We're lucky that our local supermarket gives away meat for dogs sometimes.

Garlic and dogs; I've found garlic to be the difference between my dog having ticks and worms, and having no ticks and worms. Conventional wisdom says garlic is bad for dogs, because the corporations paid for studies where they deliberately poisoned dogs by massively overdosing them (just as with HCQ during covid). At a clove per 20kg of dog, it's very good for them, I'd look into the subject, Tamar, as it might be part of what helps your doggo. Clay is worth looking into, too; geophagy can help deal with poisons like roundup. I give my dog (and myself!) montmorillonite once in a while.

Hope your dog gets better. "May you be the person your dog thinks you are."

Not so much lately (I guess most people's systems would have cleared the vax by now), but in 2022 dogs were being unusually friendly to me in the street, with one still looking back at me when it was quite a distance up the street.

Trump Appoints Dr. Janette Nesheiwat, Former COVID Vaccine Advocate Turned Critic, as Surgeon General

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/11/trump-appoints-dr-janette-nesheiwat-former-covid-vaccine/

This message has drawn sharp criticism from vaccine-skeptical conservatives who view mandates and widespread vaccine advocacy as an overreach. However, Dr. Nesheiwat’s recent statements indicate a significant shift in her perspective.

To her credit, Dr. Nesheiwat has since adjusted her stance as more data became available. She criticized the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for its handling of the vaccine’s rollout and mandates, particularly its impact on children.

“If CDC approves a COVID vaccine addition to the routine schedule of vax for kids, it will mark the most egregious unethical & harmful decision to children. No mandates. Especially for a vax that can’t prevent disease.”

“COVID vax does not prevent disease like we once thought it did per the CDC / Pfizer etc.”

She also wrote, “A big mistake. The CDC allowed us sick doctors/nurses to work while covid+ positive but you are penalizing those who already have natural immunity knowing the current vaccine does not stop transmission or acquisition of covid.”
