There's a house in our neighborhood that has changed hands quite a few times in the past few decades, and according to a neighbor who told me the story in a hushed tone, every couple who has moved in has separated/divorced. There were other tragedies in these families as well, around teenage children and addiction. It could have been coincidental but the neighbor felt it was a bit too much, all considered, and implied an eeriness to the place. This is an otherwise quite stable neighborhood where few houses come on the market. The house is newly renovated (the couple that did the renovation separated and left, as did the couple they initially rented it to before selling to the current couple last year) and looks clean but does have a kind of empty, forlorn vibration. It's also surrounded on two sides by neighbors that I find very strange and maybe into some weird fetish stuff (from random clues and a brief interaction). Fortunately, this block is several over from mine, so I just avoid it.

So, yes, I do think some houses carry an unfortunate energy or fate pattern.
