There's something important there, and not just regarding covid. Inability to connect the dots, see patterns, make correlations.
If you pay attention a lot of the official and msm data is incoherent - meaning it doesn't cohere, doesn't hang together.
What does that do to your thought processes if your mind is bombarded and filled with incoherent data? Do you lose the ability to make connections?
If your mind is incoherent then you live in a fragmented world, a world of separated bits with no connection, no wholeness.
