Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 134

don't complyWe are now in the third year of these open posts. As the phrase "died suddenly" repeats in the mass media like a mantra, statistics for work days lost to illness and all-cause mortality mount up in heavily vaccinated nations, and more and more ugly facts about the official response to Covid spill out into public, we are entering what may well turn out to be the most difficult period of the Covid disaster -- the phase in which denial rises in lockstep with the death rate, and a great many people try not to admit what has been done to them by the people and institutions they trusted. It could get ugly, folks.

So it's time for another open post. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. Also, please don't drag in current quarrels about sex, race, religions, etc. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

Thanks for looking up those lyrics and posting them. I had been vaguely curios what the lyrics were, but never got around to checking. Now that I've seem them, the whole thing feels more bizarre than ever.

"And I begin to wonder if something esoteric, something from another level, wasn't going on with that, that it was more than just "a fun fad." That maybe it was an intentionally directed energetic alignment of the humans of some sort."

Now that I read the lyrics - yeah. Wow. Creepy.

On one hand, it's a religious song, and can be interpreted as such; I imagine that was probably the original perspective from which the lyrics were written. It's like a prayer to God - walk with me, keep me safe, my real home is with you, etc.

On the other hand, it was performed by all of those medical workers (who, apparently, had nothing better to do with their time in the middle of a "deadly world-wide pandemic" than to learn, stage, rehearse, perform, record, and share videos of themselves dancing around empty hospitals and other facilities, but I digress). In this context, it does start to seem like a really twisted, secular "prayer" - something vaguely sinister and hypnotic - to the Science(tm) of cooties-19. "Walk with me" sort of tracks on believe mainstream propaganda, don't think for yourself, panic with the herd; "keep me safe" is similar (as others noted) to the insidious "stay safe" mantra, and the idea that "safety" is paramount above all; "my place is not here" sort of tracks on everybody needs to stay in place in their own homes, not go out into group settings; the idea of an idealized future kingdom tracks on "build back better".

How much of this is deliberate - a 'directed energetic alignment of some sort', as you noted or maybe just a form of staged hypnotism? - how much is sheer coincidence, and how much is eerie synchronicity? I have no idea. But it's deeply strange, that's for sure. And yes, it does feel like some larger force is at work in some way.

And for what it's worth, if those dancing nurses and other "front line" workers were supposed to help sell the pandemic, they had the exact opposite effect on me. I started getting suspicious of the narrative on day 15 of "two weeks to flatten the curve", but once I saw those videos, it made me certain that something was really off about the whole thing. Medical workers simply do not have the time or energy to dance around like jackasses in the middle of any kind of real emergency. I spent a couple weeks digging through data (it was more available back then, they hadn't yet scrubbed a lot of sources) and found a few alternative outlets that were questioning the narrative, and from there it was easy to see the whole thing was some variety of mass hysteria or hypnosis or something. So, thanks, dancing fools, for tipping me off, I guess?

"My home is not here" -- code for "my home is in heaven, not in this material world"

--> maybe indoctrination towards prepping people to shuffle off this mortal coil?
