Just a sewing needle, set on the back of the monitor. But after a couple of weeks of actively ignoring a noticeably decreased interest, and using the internet compulsively anyway... the ethernet card adapter in my computer blew out and I had to replace it.
So... I don't pretend to know exactly what happened there, but I think it at least suggests that if your blade is working in that way... pay attention and don't try to ignore it! It could potentially cost you some hardware if you push it.
