P.S. I guess you can blame, or credit, Uncle Drunk with starting me on kitchen magic. The next time he showed up drunk, I culturally appropriated David St. Clair’s spell from Drum And Candle, to get that person who will not go home to leave your house. I don’t know if it’s authentic Brazilian voodoo or if St. Clair made it up himself, but I do know it works and has every time I’ve used it.
