1) Thank you for the link about the Bosnian pyramids -- I've seen a few discussions of them here and there but haven't followed up on that. The largest of them is pretty impressive:
The long barrows were indeed sealed up. Nobody knows for sure why that was done; the inner work I've done suggests that it was a change of religions, from an earth-centered tradition to a solar and lunar tradition, and it had roughly the same emotional charge as Christians turning their backs on Paganism thousands of years later.
2) You can certainly do that. The wand I used for that work was purchased from a wand maker at a Pagan event in Ohio, and she blessed all the wands she sold.
