My partner and I differ on this as well but it isn't a problem for us. My occult practices are my own personal spiritual practices and they don't need to be shared by him - just like I have my own job that doesn't need to be shared by him. He prefers mainstream religion for his personal spiritual practice. We recognise the right of each individual to choose these things for themself. It does not mean we can't build a great life together on the material plane. Our greatest gift to each other is simply talking.
