It's a broader pattern. Right now, as our civilization's age of reason comes to an end, a lot of people are fleeing back to traditional religious forms, and that produces a certain pressure in that direction. It's certainly an option for those who can handle the ideology that comes with those forms, but it's in no way mandatory.
