Your blog enumerated a fairly large 'family tree' for UGC, I just wondered if there was a familial connection (other than going back to Basilides!) between UGC and EG. His church is about a 2 hour drive, through L.A. traffic, parking is non-existent, and that's a non-trivial amount of gas, so I've been putting that off. But your blog inspired me to get off my butt and go to one of his lectures. (No fair maiden without facing the dragon!) Very worthwhile. A very sweet and approachable man who's forgotten more about esoteric lore than I can ever hope to know.
