He's a classic case of someone with useful intel because he doesn't think quite like I do. He's also a somewhat spiteful vegan. So I read him on covid issues, because I think he has useful insight there, and because he seems to have the time to read the studies, which I don't (that in itself is a wonderfully useful trait!), and skim the other things. Because we all have our obnoxious foibles and hobby-horses, and with any luck we still have useful insights.
