My interactions with it were brief, and quite a while ago. I wasn't impressed at all, and the money end of things was part of the reason why. Most esoteric schools require some kind of financial support, for obvious reasons -- somebody has to pay for the secretarial help, lessons, etc. -- but if you're looking at more than a couple of hundred dollars a year at most, it's pretty likely that the point of the exercise is to make money, not to teach occult wisdom.
