I was thinking about the reasons to discourage trophy hunting. Obviously if anyone is seen wearing a Vietnam-style necklace of ears, that's terrible PR on all sides. But if any of the essence of their previous owners is still around, they'll be spending every second trying to sabotage the trophy carrier in any way possible.
