I have just realised that this set of posts is happening. I have gone back to read the first one, and gone forward from there, and will be taking note and doing the practices.

These posts speak to what I have believed for a long time... which is that whatever training and skills and practice I have gained in the clinic, that my "role" in the scheme of healing is to place my hands, and eyes, and purposes, in the service of whatever gods, spirits and powers concern themselves with blessing and healing.

I have been doing some of this already, through morning dedications of that day's work to the use of such powers, through conducting SOP rituals for protection of the clinic space, and through "blessing walks" (which for me began as "blessing cycles" back when I used to cycle to what used to be my "day job").

But I am delighted to find this set of teachings putting structure around this sense that my work is to serve the power of healing. However, and whatever it takes, and whereever it leads. Whatever I am formally trained and licenced to do, it is not to heal. It is simply to serve the powers of healing which reside both within the person seeking healing, and within the greater beings of the spiritual realm who attend to the work of healing. So I am already a "conduit" and look forward to using these practices to better "conduct" and to better serve.

So, thank you for this. This specific series feels a good fit for me. :)
