Medicare Advantage plans often have extremely narrow networks and coverage limits of their own that make them questionable deals. Medicare is near going broke, but one of the reasons for that is that they've been very unwilling to refuse to cover price-gouging treatments. I'd suspect that anything they won't cover is something I wouldn't want my poor aged mother submitting to anyway.
