I really object to the suggestion that Wuhan only looked more dangerous than Omicron because doctors and nurses around the globe - starting with Wuhan, moving to Italy, Iran, and the U.S. all at once - set out on a campaign to kill patients on purpose. Some patients DID die because they were put on vents who might have survived without it (and the opposite, I would assume) but this was not because doctors and nurses worldwide were willing and plotting to commit murder to fake a pandemic. By the Delta wave, they'd given up on the idea of shoving everyone with low O2 sat onto a vent - and yet, Delta had a much higher death rate than Omicron.

Again, most of us have extended family who are health care providers of some type and I certainly know that the nurses in my family are not murderers.
