Good! It has been a standard practice in many occult schools to instruct each student to meditate on the four cardinal virtues and figure out for himself or herself which elements, directions, etc. corresponds to each of the four virtues. There are, iirc, 24 possible ways to assign the virtues to the elements/directions, and a good case can be made for every single one of them. So you've done a useful exercise.
