I saw that! The muted shock he showed in the video of him admitting it was sort of surreal. Hopefully, this brings about a greater receptivity among people on the right for investigations and truth-seeking. My impression is that Ben Shapiro is mildly sympathetic to, but not remotely in agreement with the populist wing of the party, so that's a reasonable bellwether for the changing mood of the right and the country.
