another example of tech company over-reach

Etsy is requiring all sellers to give their bank usernames and passwords to Patio, a third party who's already been fined for mining/selling customer information.

there are only a couple of days left before those who do not comply, will have their accounts suspended.

i'm letting my listings languish/expire and am planning on opening a square account in the meantime.

Temporary Reality were emailing about how all this corporate over-reach (and competition with fake artisans who're just companies in other countries) is going to push craft sales back into The REAL.

the consciousness that started these corporations and killed the world are what's gonna suicide them out into irrelevance.
