The UGC has not been relaunched yet. Neither one is a preliminary to the other -- the various orders John received, and I received from him, were affiliated but independent, and you can choose which of them you want to do. As for comment #7, that was John's take on things, not mine; since the UGC is about as far from dogmatic as it's possible to get, you can take that as his personal opinion, my comments as my personal opinion, and go on to make up your own mind on the subject!
