Magic Monday

The image? I've decided to do another pass through magical personalities, and I figured I'd start with one of my own teachers. This is John Gilbert, with whom I studied the teachings of the Universal Gnostic Church, the Order of Spiritual Alchemy, the Modern Order of Essenes, and the Magickal Order of the Golden Dawn -- this last, of course, is the parent body of the Fellowship of the Hermetic Rose. This photo was taken in 2008 in eastern Tennessee at a Druid event there; it was the last time John and I met in person, though we corresponded via email and talked on the phone quite a bit after that.
I've had several people ask about tipping me for answers here, and though I certainly don't require that I won't turn it down. You can use the button above to access my online tip jar. Re: Quieter and Quieter
1) Not much. I know he was influenced by the Symbolists and ran with William Butler Yeats, so it's a pretty fair bet that he was involved at least peripherally with occultism.
2) Whatever you like. There's no fixed rule, that I know of.
Re: Quieter and Quieter
I was going to try and work this last question out all on my my own, but then I realized I didn't know enough to make a solid call on it. So I leave what I have gathered so far.
I am calling a man about use of an unused agricultural lot in his possession that would be ideal for magical work. He previously allowed my group to use it for Lammas, but I am trying to arrange for us to use it long-term. He seems to be agreeable to this, but I want to make sure it works out as well as possible.
Due to his schedule, I will have to call him on either this Saturday or Sunday. Saturday is a 1 day for me, while Sunday is a 2 day. While neither of them are ideal for this, I would like input on which day would be best. I would guess that all hours would work decently for this undertaking except for Venus, Mars, and the Moon.
