Open (More or Less) Post on Covid 5

troubledThe semi-open posts  I've hosted here on the Covid-19 narrative, the inadequately tested experimental drugs for it, and the whole cascading mess surrounding them have continued to field a huge number of comments, so I'm opening another space for discussion. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

With that said, the floor is open for discussion.

I also dislike stories where it turns out "it was all just a dream," or the magical and wonderful things were just in the character's imagination.

I got the vaccine back in March, after some initial hesitation. Back then I feel like there was less hostile propaganda pushing people to get it. I had some concerns about the lack of testing, but I didn't see it as a moral or spiritual issue. No negative side effects so far and hopefully there will not be any in the future. On the spiritual side, all I can do is pray there will be no ill effects.

Interestingly enough, I would probably be less likely to get it now, only because the unhinged rage coming from the "good people" does not leave me inclined to take their advice.

Federal Mandate

(Anonymous) 2021-09-10 09:45 am (UTC)(link)
Anonymous because otherwise it would be too easy to figure out where I work.

With the latest federal mandate, I may lose my job. I work at a residential facility for abused teenagers. The kids are all wards of the state and thus Medicaid is a major source of funds. If they decide to go the route of allowing weekly testing, we will be fine because the state already mandates that for all employees in our field regardless of vaccination status. So far, though, it appears that they intend to require vaccination without the testing option for facilities that receive Medicare/Medicaid funding.

I live in a red state. I estimate 30-50% of the people at my work have not gotten the shots. We're already severely short-staffed. I can't see how the agency would survive losing so many employees at once.

I've been mentally and emotionally preparing to find a new job for a while, so this isn't hitting me as badly as it might have. I've survived quite a lot of extreme poverty in my life. It sure has been nice to have two years of steady work and benefits, but I can manage without that if I have to. Even with that mental preparation, though, I feel angry and a bit frightened.

I've seen a few of those signs, but noticed an "Impeach Biden" sign for the first time while out on a motorcycle ride about the time he was giving his speech. Makes a nice contrast to the "Pritzger S**ks!" signs that decorate the landscape here in downstate Illinois.

"The woman who designed the AstraZeneca vaccine has issued a chilling warning that the Delta variant is so transmissible it will eventually “reach everybody who is not vaccinated”, sparking predictions that those that refuse the jab may soon become shunned and ostracised.

I'd argue here in the U.S. those of us who've not been Jabbed are already being shunned and ostracized, by no less than the President.

And if Delta comes my way, I say okie dokie. I have somewhere between a 50 and 80% chance of warding it off with no symptoms, as most people were and are already immune to it prior to the Jabs being rolled out. I have a 99% chance of surviving it if my immune system battles it successfully, and I notice because I do have symptoms. This assumes I stay away from the hospital and a ventilator. That would leave me with natural immunity that sterilizes other variants, lasts longer and works - err - as nature intended.

Finally, if it does kill me, than I won't have to be subjected to all this idiocy any longer.

Seems like a win-win-win and win situation to me.

Heard that a friend just got airlifted to hospital because he blew out one of his heart valves. Open heart surgery and now in a coma, high probability he'll die. He wasn't doing anything strenuous at the time, 44 yrs old, very fit (but not over trained) military guy. He got vaxxed four months ago, no other risk factors or health issues. I'm sure it was just a coincidence. As was the severe whole body clotting post surgery of two people I know of and my father in law going blind after routine cataract surgery caused a haemorrhage in his eye. All these things do happen, however, they do seem to happen alot to the vaxxed.

As one who was in Stanford Hospital as a patient, and also had two family members as patients, and we all received excellent nursing care, I am so sorry to hear this news. I could see then (pre-covid) how understaffed the hospital was, and how hard the nurses had to work. If I were in your shoes, by the way, I would have done the same, resigned. I think they are madder than hatters to mandate this "vaccine." And I think you are quite right, that in a year the situation will be very different.

In the meantime, and yonder, I wish you all the best.

You might find this post by SJ Kerrigan about John C. Lilly and the Solid State Entity of interest. http://seankerrigan.com/john-c-lilly-and-the-solid-state-entity/

Another rabbit hole to wander down as far as the Internet's origins goes, is to start reading up on Jacques Vallee and his books.

JMG warned that Oz might become a CCP protectorate in the next 100 years. The way things are going I think it will be less than that. You are more than half way there.

The irony in all this is that Wuhan has no covid restrictions. This is a huge victory for China and an own goal by the Western world. Sad times!

However, it does seem that they shed 'something' - probably spike protein or its fragments. It's not catchable or transmissive in the normal sense. I've also thought it might be giving my immune system a good sneak preview for when I do get infected. However, too many reports of Bel's Palsey and other characteristic covid symptoms in people who have spent quite a bit of time with recent vaccinees. As for length of time - who knows. I've made my husband sleep in another bed each time he gets a jab for a couple of weeks an taken my prophylaxis and otherwise don't worry about it.

I've always maintained the growth opportunity in the 21st century would be the black market.

It's the MSM that's generating this artificial division. They hate you, stop listening to them.

David French is a a traitor to all that he says he stands for. He is promoting vaccination to satisfy the elites and keep his position of prominence. If Trump were in office he would telling people not to get vaccinated because the Trump vaccines can't be trusted. That man has no morales.

Since homeless aren't required to vaccinate and apparently have done quite well thru this "pandemic", its probably a good choice.

Ultimatum

I work at a chain grocery store. If they give me the jab or job ultimatum I will walk. I will hunker down for the winter and hope the madness clears by spring. I'll keep resisting as long as I can. Congratulations, crazy controlling people in charge, you have crossed a line.

Was that a Freudian slip, do you think? I'm inclined to read it as a thinly-veiled threat.

Businesses will adapt - they can outsource certain work if necessary. Businesses have always had to adapt to the inane policies of bureaucrats. We all have to learn to adapt and 'duck and dive'. I think businesses will be no different.

Best Case

Am I crazy, or just plain callous, in feeling like mass casualties from ADE is a best case scenario at this point? Without that, it feels like this goes into either a persistent tyranny, or a civil war.

They've just tipped off that a quarter of the population is not complying. This means that we're not alone and suddenly a lot of us who were feeling that way know it: there are others standing with me on this. This is both very encouraging and very dangerous: I can't think of a better way to cause a full blown crisis than to suddenly conjure this group into reality and start viciously threatening it...

IKR? My husband works in a hospital. He is constantly exposed (and the rest of us by extension) to all the latest greatest variants. We haven't been sick since we all caught version 1.0 back in spring 2020. I attribute this to natural immunity plus constant "software updates" from the repeated exposure. Not even a little bit concerned about it anymore.

(Anonymous) 2021-09-10 12:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm rather curious as well myself. My guess is some law from decades or centuries back that no one really realized was still there gives them some sort of power here; that or they intend to use the threat to try to force companies to comply...
